Training and Supervision
ELI is widely recognized by the government and public and private organizations throughout Israel as the leading authority on the treatment and prevention of child abuse.
ELI reaches many of the most remote places in Israel when there are children in need, utilizing such services as their emergency hotline, mobile therapy van and satellite therapy offices.
However, one of ELI's greatest contributions to Israeli Society is their training of municipal social workers and other clinicians throughout Israel on how to address abuse, enhancing the overall capacity to serve the growing need. In addition, ELI social workers often provide supervision to municipal social workers who have heavy caseloads or complex cases.
This is ELI's legacy, creating a lasting impact and ensuring that professionals in localities throughout the nation and in diverse cultural groups are well equipped with the knowledge, tools and resources they need to identify and treat child abuse.
